A backup contract cannot reopen your office.

ConnectWise has suspended Cloud Backup, formerly SkyKick, after attackers abused trusted access to Microsoft 365. Customers cannot use affected restores.

Huntress documented unauthorized sign-ins and, in one customer environment, extra credentials added to other applications. ConnectWise says seven application identities were disabled October seventeenth. Its latest update says backup and restoration services remain unavailable. Disabling the original connection does not remove every extra way in.
