Zero vendor compensation

B3 Advisory accepts no vendor commissions, reseller margins, referral payments, spiffs or affiliate fees for its recommendations. Vendors cannot buy a preferred position in an evaluation.

A fee agreed before work starts

The client pays a flat project fee or an agreed retainer. The written scope identifies deliverables, responsibilities, evidence access, exclusions and acceptance conditions. Material scope changes require a written agreement.

Conflicts are addressed before engagement

Relevant employment, financial or business relationships are disclosed during engagement review. B3 will decline work where a conflict cannot be resolved without compromising buyer-side representation. Prior experience at a named company does not imply that company’s endorsement or current representation.

Evidence the client can inspect

Findings distinguish verified records, missing information and professional judgment. Recommendations identify assumptions, tradeoffs and outstanding exceptions. A vendor assurance is not treated as a demonstrated operating result.

Roles remain explicit

B3 provides technology procurement and readiness advisory. It does not automatically assume an organization’s regulatory duties, act as legal counsel, operate a managed security service or issue a compliance certification. The engagement agreement defines the responsibilities of B3, the client and qualified specialists.

Independence does not mean a promised outcome

No review guarantees that an incident will not occur, that an insurer will pay a claim, or that a regulator or assessor will accept a particular position. The commitment is to independent work, clear evidence and a usable decision record.
